Welcome to the (name of town here) Genestreams Songlines Sculpture Art fundraising page. This project is focused on cultural and ecological restoration through education. It celebrates scientific and traditional knowledge of the natural environment and the heritage of the songlines.
(A paragraph on the town who, where and why)
The purpose of this page is to raise the required funding for the (name of town here) Genestreams Songlines Sculpture. Patrons of this project will enable the community to make visible their region’s unique environmental and indigenous stories.
Just as a coin has two sides to it so too does this sculpture. The outside of the sculpture features the work of indigenous artists of the region – this is the Songlines Sculpture. The inside of the sculpture is an evolutionary tree of selected regional species, the art speaks of the ecology, geology and deep time history of the region – this is a Genestreams Sculpture.
How a community can raise the funds for a Genestreams Songlines Sculpture
The Genestreams Sculptures Online Art Course is priced at $460 + GST
Our goal is to raise the required funding to pay for the creation of the (name of town here) Genestreams Songlines Sculpture and the art that decorates it through the sale of the Genestreams Sculptures online art course.
We aim to work with auspicing bodies who will assist each community in the fund raising processes through developing a strategic online campaign using social media.
Background: The creators of the internal art Ben Beeton and Mali Moir have developed a series of online art courses. The Genestreams Sculptures online art course fuses elements of an online course titled the Art of Nature with lessons specific to the natural history component of Genestreams Sculptures. The fundraising project is broken down into three actions:

Action 2 focuses on creating the art and its display on a digital 3d model of the sculpture on a website as a proof of concept for the sculpture, 60 sales of the Genestreams Sculptures Online Art Course totaling $27,600 are required in total to commence Action 2.
Action 3 focuses on steel fabrication and installation of the sculpture, 75 sales of the Genestreams Sculptures Online Art Course totaling $34,500 are required in total to commence Action 3.
For Actions 2 & 3 of the project there is a carbon offset in the form of funding revegetation programs through the Gondwana Link organization who funded the first Genestreams Sculpture at Twin Creeks WA.
