Welcome to the Twin Creeks Nature Reserve. This project celebrates the natural assets of the Shire of Plantagenet, dominated by the Porongurup Range. The range is home to an inland island of karri forest, surrounded by jarrah, marri, and moinyh woodlands. Like the nearby south coast, this amazing inland island hosts ancient and endemic plants and invertebrates. Porongurup National Park, with its towering granite boulders, is all that remains of an ancient mountain range and holds immense cultural and spiritual significance to the Noongar people.

Art of Nature School
The field naturalist artwork for the Genestreaming Journey Sculptures is headed by artists Mali Moir and Ben Beeton, co-founders of the Art of Nature School. A sculpture’s field naturalist artwork often enjoys participation from local creatives who are credited on this project’s webpage.
The Art of Nature School deeply enriches student’s ongoing connections with the natural world, offering engaging approaches to traditional and innovative nature journaling. From our time to deep time exploring the curiosities of nature, from exquisite flowers to continental plate tectonics, this unique approach fosters a rich and lasting awareness of our natural world.
