Genestreaming Gondwana Link maps for field naturalist art

The maps below provide an understanding of the foundations that Mali Moir and myself have used as the starting point for our field naturalist artworks which visitors will experience when they walk into a sculpture.

For inspiration from scientists we are seeking published papers that are relevant to the regions below.

For inspiration from local conservation groups we seeking information on actions that they have taken in the regions below.

We are mindful that everyone is busy and we do not expect huge amounts of material from any one person. The information could come in the form of published papers, maps, diagrams, photos, literally data of any form.

We will share this information with the visiting public through these artworks. We envisage that when people walk into a sculpture they will be surrounded by a giant illustrated map of the region where the sculpture is situated which highlights scientific studies and conservation actions. This will differentiate the internal art for each sculpture.

Please feel free to email me at benbeeton@live.com.au if you have information that you wish to share.
